FC Porto manager, Sergio Conceicao revealed what was said during his intense exchange of words with Arsenal gaffer Mikel Arteta during the Portuguese outfit's penalty shootout loss in their UEFA Champions League last-16 clash on Tuesday.
The Gunners triumphed 1-0 on the night thanks to Leandro Trossard's well placed finish in the first half but following a 1-1 aggregate scoreline and after extra time, penalties were needed.
David Raya was the hero and man of the match on the night as he helped his side to a 4-2 shootout win.
However, the drama did not end even after the whistle as both managers were seen having a heated conversation at the end of the game.
"During the game he [Arteta] turned to the bench and in Spanish, he insulted my family,"Conceicao told newsmen.
"At the end I called over to get Arteta's attention, because the person he insulted is no longer with us."
Quizzed asked about the incident in his post-match press conference Arteta replied: "No comment".
The Spaniard seemed to want to stir away from controversy with his response after guiding his side to a first Champions League quarter final in 14 years and with their next game coming against Manchester City in the Premier League on March 31, Arteta's response seems understandable as no room for extra headlines is needed at this time.
