Chelsea have earmarked Victor Osimhen as their priority transfer target to improve their frontline ahead of the summer window.
According to a report from Rudy Galetti via ESPN, the interest appears to be appealing to the Napoli forward who seems interested in a switch to Stamford Bridge.
Despite Napoli's struggles this season, the Nigerian has still showing quality, netting 11 times in 17 outings in the Serie A, following up his 31-goal season in the previous 2022-23 campaign.
The 25-year-old still has a contract at Naples until 2026, but Galetti reports that negotiations are promising and the Blues are up to activate his release clause, although discussions with Napoli over the payment structure is yet to hold.
On the other hand, Paris Saint-Germain is another side showing interest in snapping up the striker.
However, the French giants are waiting on whatever transpires on the deal involving Rafael Leao.
The Portuguese attacker insisted recently he had no intention of leaving ahead of the summer window, leading to confirmations he was had no interest in leaving AC Milan.
The Paris club are big admirers of Osimhen but are unsure of making a move with Randal Kolo Muani and Gonçalo Ramos still in their ranks.
Osimhen's new contract is rumoured to have a €130million release clause.
