Gareth Southgate's England squad has suffered depletion due to injuries in this international break and the trend has continued as three major players have left camp just before their upcoming friendly against Belgium.

Kyle Walker, Harry Maguire and Sam Johnstone are the latest set of players to withdraw from camp ahead of the game against the Red Devils.

Recall that Bukayo Saka and Harry Kane had departed camp before the Three Lions' 0-1 loss to Brazil on Saturday - their first defeat in 15 months - a game which Walker and Maguire both started.

Manchester City's Rico Lewis has now been called up from the Under-21 squad to the national team, including uncapped Burnley goalkeeper James Trafford who replaces Johnstone.

Lewis, who made his debut in November against North Macedonia will also look to stake his claim for a starting spot at Wembley on Tuesday.
