Bayern Munich sporting director Christoph Freund provided an update on the injury situation of Harry Kane as cast doubts on the marksman's availability for England in the upcoming international break.
The 30-year-old, who netted on Saturday to extend his goal tally to 31 this term as taken off in the latter stages of the game after hurting his ankle.
In Bayern's 5-2 win at Darmstadt, Kane clashed into the goalpost while trying to get to a ball.
Freund revealed Bayern were in "close coordination" with England about the striker and stated that no risks will be taken with the injury.
The Three Lions have friendlies against Brazil and Belgium this week. Meanwhile, the next clash for the Bavarian outfit is against Borussia Dortmund on March 30.
Speaking after the game, gaffer Thomas Tuchel insisted "he hoped the incident was just a scary moment."
"He slipped and fell into the net and twisted his ankle. He's cooling it down with ice and we don't have a diagnosis yet.
"When Harry goes off it's never a good sign because Harry never goes off when there's still goals to score."
Kane broke a 60-year-old record for most goals scored in a debut season in the Bundesliga - netting 31 goals in 26 games.
Bayern are set to face Arsenal in the Champions League quarter final and the German champions are currently on a run of 11 straight Bundesliga titles but are seven points behind Bayer 04 Leverkusen, who have a game in hand.
